DRY TOILET 2012 The 4th International Dry Toilet Conference
We are preparing the 4th International Dry Toilet Conference. The deadline for
submission of abstracts and posters was 31 January. The abstracts were peer reviewed and accepted by the
Scientific Committee.

The conference dates are 22 – 25 August, 2012. The conference venue is
University of Tampere,

For those delegates who want to exercise, Mr. Petri Juuti will be delighted to arrange a morning jog on Thursday and Friday. Jogging will start from the main doors of University's main building at 7 a.m., lasting for about 40 minutes. Visit to Helvetinjärvi National Park (about 50 km north of Tampere) Full-day tour Saturday, August 25, 10.00 - 17.00 Price: 79 EUR Minimum of 20 to 30 participants required The tour, guided in English, starts with a 1.5 hour bus trip to Ruovesi, the location of Helvetinjärvi National Park. Coffee with a cinnamon roll will be served on arrival before the guide takes you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Helvetinkolu, one of the gorges that are the most popular destinations in the park. After the half-hour walk back, visitors will choose between a meat soup or a vegetable soup, diplomas will be handed to the participants, and we return to Tampere. There is also a possibility for swimming in a lake.
